Harvard University Certificate of Advanced Education Leadership 2018 multinational program with educators from world wide, 2 year program, prompted by the desire to start a novel program that recognizes children’s multiple intelligences.

2014-2016 Performed Convener of Consultancy at Harvard School of Professional Studies, conducted groups with professionals around the world discussing world-wide educational issues - week long programs

Ms. Katya
Head Teacher, MS Education and Special Education, CCC-SLP

Katya received a Bachelor’s degree from Brooklyn College in Business Management & Finance. While working in a menial position at a financial institution during the 2008 financial crisis, Katya started tutoring STEAM subjects and helped guide students through the college application process. Shortly thereafter, she quit her job to pursue a Master’s degree in Education & Special Education. After completing her degree, she took a transition year to travel, which turned into three years of exploring the world. Acceptance into a Master’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology at Teachers College, Columbia University was a calling to return home. Having completed her degree, she immersed herself in working with children with special needs. Her passion lies not only in helping students to become competent communicators but also in building confidence and character to create life-long learners. She strongly believes in every student’s success.

Ms. Katya is an avid reader who loves to travel the world creating lasting memories. Some of her most memorable destinations include Cambodia, Vietnam, Guatemala, Colombia, and Jordan.

A Graduate student at Long Island University pursuing a Doctoral of Physical Therapy. Joe volunteers his free time as a facilities engineer working on projects to fix flooring, lighting, and plumbing, giving the school a fresh look and feel that everyone can appreciate.
