Eid al-Adha, also known as the Festival of Sacrifice, is one of the two major Islamic holidays, alongside Eid al-Fitr.
The holiday falls on the 10th day of Dhu al-Hijjah, the final month of the Islamic calendar, and lasts for three additional days. It marks the culmination of the Hajj pilgrimage in Mecca and is celebrated by Muslims worldwide.
